Sledding

In the mood for a sledding expedition? Perhaps in combination with a romantic winter walk? This is something definitely not to be missed.

Whether in the daylight or under the stars, romantic or action-packed. Fun for the whole family.

Ice Climbing

Waterfall climbing is one of the trendiest sports around. Steep ice demands a fine touch and great flexibility from climbers. You can learn and perfect these skills during a course at the Gnadenalm (4km outside of Obertauern).

Cable Cars for Non-Skiers

Would you like to enjoy the wonderful views of Obertauern's snow-covered mountain world, without ever having to clamp on your skis? Then take a ride on one of our cable cars.

Nachtskilauf am Obertauern

Night-skiing every Monday and Thursday at the Edelweiss 4-seater chair lift - from 7 until 10 p.m.

The some 1500 m-long slope served by the Edelweiss lift will be lit up as bright as day.  All lift tickets issued by Obertauern and Lungo ski alliances and valid for more than 1 1/2 days are accepted for night-skiing.  Evening passes for one-day visitors can be purchased at the valley terminal of the Edelweiss lift.

The Salzburg Super Ski Card does not cover night-skiing!
